Gujjar dwellings (lower right) along the slopes of the Pehlgum Valley.  Gujjars (and Bakerwals) build temporary structures in which they live for a few months, before moving on to greener pastures.

A guide bringing down horses in the Pehlgum Valley.  Local guides with horses congregate in the Valley in July each year to take pilgrims to the Armanath Cave, a famous Hindu shrine.
